  1. I would guess Mount McKinley in Denali National Park in Alaska. A beautiful sight that I was lucky enough to have visited back in the early 1980's when we went to visit my sister who lived in Anchorage at the time. The bus tour was awesome, and we even slept in the train hotel at the park. Trip of a lifetime!

  10. This week's random free book winner is Rhonda P. Thank you to everyone who participated. This is a picture from page 32 of our book, of a mountaineering team ascending the upper Kahiltna Glacier to their camp at 11,200 feet, at around midnight, on Denali, Denali National Park, Alaska. And since it's women's history month, we would like to point out that Barbara Polk Washburn was the first woman to reach the summit, on June 6, 1947.

Look for our next book giveaway on Friday!
